Manarat Nikah Service

Manarat Foundation offers Nikah services for Muslims wishing to get married at the masjid. All Nikahs are officiated by the designated Imam unless the family specifically requests another approved scholar (subject to availability).

Procedure

You will receive an acknowledgement email for your records.
Manarat operations staff will contact the person in charge to schedule a meeting and discuss program details and requirements.

The Shahada: A Declaration of Faith

The Shahada, “There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is His messenger,” is the fundamental declaration of the Islamic faith. Reciting this statement with sincerity and conviction in the presence of witnesses is all that is required to embrace Islam. It is the first of the Five Pillars of Islam.

By reciting the Shahada, you affirm:

The Oneness of God: Allah is the sole God, and there is no other deity.
Muhammad as Prophet: Muhammad is the final messenger of God.
Personal Acceptance: You personally accept this truth.
Commitment to Islam: You pledge to adhere to the principles and practices of Islam throughout your life.
