Manarat Foundation Shahada Service

The Shahada: A Declaration of Faith

The Shahada, “There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is His messenger,” is the fundamental declaration of the Islamic faith. Reciting this statement with sincerity and conviction in the presence of witnesses is all that is required to embrace Islam. It is the first of the Five Pillars of Islam.

By reciting the Shahada, you affirm:

  • The Oneness of God: Allah is the sole God, and there is no other deity.
  • Muhammad as Prophet: Muhammad is the final messenger of God.
  • Personal Acceptance: You personally accept this truth.
  • Commitment to Islam: You pledge to adhere to the principles and practices of Islam throughout your life.

If you are ready to take the Shahada, please complete the form provided, and the Imam will schedule a suitable time for you to perform this significant act of faith.
